clients.

Disorders Part I
All available research suggests that an integrated approach is most
effective in the treatment of dual disorders. Cross training is the key.
Program flexibility is necessary, inter-agency coordination is required,
etc. Only when these objectives have been achieved can we hope to
deliver effective integrated prevention and treatment services.

Strategies for Assessment of
Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders
This presentation will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of current
assessment tools, such as the ASI, for assessment of adults with
co-occurring disorders. Using this information, Mr. Doub will describe
several key strategies for comprehensive assessment for dual disorders.
