Continuing Education Information
SATISFACTORY COMPLETION: Participants must have paid tuition fee and completed an online Attendance/Evaluation form in order to receive a continuing education certificate. Participants not fulfilling these requirements will not receive a certificate. Failure to complete the online Attendance/ Evaluation form will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire conference. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. Certificates are available immediately after completing the online form.

The Association of Intervention Specialists Certification Board (AISCB)
AAISCB recognizes that professionals in the intervention fields perform different functions at different levels of accountability.
To accommodate this diversity, credentialing is based on a level system, which will be Board Registered Interventionist I (BRI-I) and Board
Registered Interventionist II (BRI-II).
Training requirements for BRI-I and BRI-II may be met at this conference.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR BRI-I:- Certified (ICRC/NAADAC), or licensed in a counseling related field
- Submit to a single source verification check
- Have malpractice insurance ? a minimum of 1,000,000/3,000,000
- Successfully complete a minimum of 14 hours of training on Intervention
- Have a minimum of two years experience conducting interventions
- Submit three peer evaluations and supervised practical experience
- Adhere to Board Registered Interventionist Code of Ethics
- Passing an Oral and/orWritten Exam may be required
You must already be or meet the requirements to be a BRI-I (shown above) Interventionist, and:
- Successfully complete a minimum of 14 hours of training specific to addictions other then to alcohol and drugs, i.e. gambling, food, sex, etc.
- Have a minimum of five years experience conducting interventions
- Submit three peer evaluations
- Passing an Oral and/orWritten Exam may be required
