Teenage Trauma and Suicide

While there are many possible effects of trauma, they may look different for each individual. People who have experienced trauma are more likely to attempt suicide, become an alcoholic, use drugs, use anti-depressant medication, and experience depression. While the link between traumatic experiences and mental health remains clear, help is available and there are coping resources to aid individuals as they process trauma.
