Women and LSD Addiction

LSD dependence begins with a desire to escape reality to feel better. In 2003, a study found that the average woman LSD users age ranges from 14 to 26. They are more likely under 18 and white. These women may have started using because of a traumatic experience or some other mental illness, such as depression. In addition, women who use LSD or marijuana are also more likely to misuse other substance, such as alcohol or cigarettes.
